PBLA Observation is carried out at ASSIST as part of on-going support for the teachers. This may not be applicable to your program.
PBLA Observation
WHAT: The PBLA observation is done by the Lead Teacher for teachers at ASSIST and is intended to be a method of peer support rather than a supervisory observation
WHY: The observation is to help teachers stay on track with PBLA expectations in the classroom and guide them as needed
HOW: The Lead Teacher sits in for an hour and observes the teacher in the classroom. In short, the following elements are what the Lead Teachers look for in the observation:
